30 years ago, I found that which wakes me in the chilly hours before sunrise, has me hiking countless miles, burdened by a heavy pack, on a search for that never-ending quest for the elusive moment when light and beauty come together to be captured within the camera. My search is propelled by the clouds and fueled by majestic mountains. The vast stillness of the deserts, cool endless waves of the Pacific, and secret canyons of the Colorado Plateau all feed my restless soul and serve as the most beautiful landscape for me in which to create images. To aid me in my journey, I built a custom 4WD camper which serves as a tool to get me there and as a comfortable home on the road. I hope that my images take you the viewer there, and that you can feel the emotion and connection to the beauty only found in the wild.
I am extremely grateful to call Prescott, Arizona home, and to be able to explore and photograph this most diverse and beautiful country on the planet.
